Private sale receipt for a car or other item – free template (Ireland)
When you sell privately, the goods must match your description and you must own them. A private seller does not give the quality guarantees a shop must give, so selling "as seen" is normal. For a car, complete the change of ownership on the Vehicle Registration Certificate and notify the National Vehicle and Driver File (motortax.ie or by post) within the time allowed.
