Letter of authority (let someone act for you) – free template (Ireland)
A letter of authority lets someone deal with a specific matter for you, for example talking to your bank, energy supplier or Revenue. Organisations may still ask for ID or their own form. It is not an enduring power of attorney and stops working if you lose capacity.
Free, no sign-up, nothing uploaded. Help in 11 languages, the document stays in English.

Questions
Is this template really free?
Yes. Pflichtblatt is free, has no ads, no sign-up and no tracking. Everything you type stays in your browser; the PDF is created on your device.
What does “Enduring power of attorney” mean?
A letter of authority covers one task while you can still decide for yourself. For long-term decisions in case you lose capacity, you need an enduring power of attorney registered with the Decision Support Service.
What does “Eircode” mean?
Every Irish address has a 7-character postcode, such as H91 X2Y3. It helps letters and deliveries arrive. You can look up any Eircode at eircode.ie.
